Dual Front Desk / Spa Attendant

 

As a dual Front Desk/Spa Attendant you'll truly be the face of our organization, interacting with both loyal members and new clientele. With the support of the team you are responsible for maintaining the aesthetic of the facility while working in the spa area, and while working at the front desk you will be booking appointment and checking clients in/out.  

Responsibilities:

Clock in and out appropriately for each shift.

Daily, hourly task lists to be followed and signed off on consistently, with detail and in a timely manner

Adhere to all sanitation and disinfecting procedures and protocols

Maintain cleanliness and organization of facility to meet Banya Management standards

Detail cleaning as assigned by the MOD as needed

Attendant Duties

Basic testing of Pool Chemistry

Discarded/soiled towels to be removed and stored appropriately

Proper storage and disinfecting of sandals

Walking through and inspecting facility during the majority of attendant shift

Janitorial duties include; locker room detail, trash detail, replenishment of paper products and amenities, scrubbing, wiping, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, moping all surface areas and outdoor keep up

Maintain, replenish and stock tea/beverage service for clients throughout shift

Furniture to be neat, clean and organized

Lighting and temperature inaccuracies to be reported to MOD

Squeegee floors throughout shift to be free of debris

Maintain tea and water in Lounge

Have knowledge of the facility and all it features

Assist clients with any questions they may have and whenever possible offer tours to new clients

Front Desk Duties

Greet clients as they enter the Banya

Provide excellent service to clients at Banya 5’s standards

Handle and diffuse client issues professionally

Check in/out clients of facility per FD manual

Answer phones with a positive attentive and professional manor per FD manual

Book and coordinate spa appointments

Laundry detail, storing of robes and stocking of towels meeting Banya 5’s standards

Accurately describe services and facility to clients

Make recommendations on service upgrades and retail purchases

Process every payment transaction through the POS software

Handle cash diligently and in a trustworthy and ethical way

Keep front desk and lobby area clean, organized and dust free

 Expectations and Performance Requirements:

Must be able to safely lift 60 lbs, quickly traverse stairs and work in a warm and humid environment

Must wear slip-resistant shoes

Must be able to sit or stand for multiple hours

Attend approximately 2-3 staff meetings per year

Follow and abide by all policies and procedures set forth within the Banya Employee Handbook

Associates are paid hourly. Starting wage varies, based on previous experience.
